Dashflo - Action!
The client just gave the go ahead to proceed, let’s get to work. Slide your project token from the pipeline to active column. Let’s take a moment to look at what just happened.

If you haven’t already done so, add project data for revenue and/or cost, and the totals will update in the dashboard area above the project pipes. By design, as you add more projects, your ‘pipe stack’ will start to get taller. So for each status we’ve added a ‘gauge’ so you can quickly see the estimated net profit for all of your projects in Dashflo at that moment.

So what happens when the projects that you’re tracking start really stacking up? You might not want to have the projects you’ve lost staring you in the face, or perhaps your completed projects don’t need to be visible during day-to-day production. Take note of the show and hide buttons on the gauges. Clicking them immediately hides all pipes of projects in that state. Click hide on the ‘completed’ gauge, and instantly the pipes that contain completed project tokens are hidden from view. Don’t worry all of your data are there…we just wanted you to be able to focus on the projects that really need your attention.

But maybe you want to see all of your projects, and think that the tokens are just a wee bit too big. Go ahead, you can say it. you won’t hurt our feelings. If you aren’t that concerned with the specific revenue and cost data on the token, you can collapse the row height and thin your stack a bit. Wouldn’t it be great if you could sort projects in your pipe stack? Yeah, we thought so too…we’ll talk about that in a future post.
